The other two main options that you can choose from is to do either a buzz cut or to let your hair grow out longer. With a buzz cut it can be hard to see exactly where your hairline is. Meanwhile longer hair can hide your hairline completely, especially if you get bangs.

As a last resort, it is always possible to change your hairstyle by wearing a wig. While the wigs that are made with real hair are more expensive, they can look entirely natural. They are also available for both men and women.

While a hair transplant might sound a little excessive, it may be the only option. If you are losing your hair due to your family genetics, then there may be nothing you can do to grow your hair back. However, a transplant might work perfectly for you.

When you have a hair transplant your doctor takes away an area where your hair is growing strong and healthy. Then they place it on your head in the front where your hair has stopped growing. They do not do this all at once, usually spanning this process out over multiple procedures.

This can be done two different ways. The first is taking a patch of skin with hair and moving it. Meanwhile, the other is to take the individual hair follicles and move them. While the latter is less noticeable, it is also obviously more time consuming with each procedure taking hours.

When your hair first changes places, it will usually start over its growth cycle. This means that the hair that has been moved will fall out. While this can be concerning at first, it is perfectly normal. New hair should start to grow back within a few months.

Getting a hair transplant is not always successful, and it can be quite expensive. But, if all else fails, then this is still an option that you can choose to go with. There are different surgeries that you can go with that are specifically for a receding hairline, so make sure that you find the best one to suit your situation.
