Hair Center Owner Combats Women’s Hair Loss

A Buffalo native is hitting the road to help women battle hair loss. Elline Surianello is a Buffalo native and the owner of LeMetric Hair Center, a New York City business that specializes in hair replacement.

Majority of her clients are in rehab centers or hospitals and aren’t able to reach her so she took her customized mobile Hair Center van on the road, which also enables her to help other patients living outside the New York City area. The mobile van permits her to fit natural hairpieces to women on the road. The back of the van is even filled with runway for fashion shows and promotional events.

Surianello suffers from hair loss and has androgenetic alopecia so she can really relate to her patients. She said, “If I don’t support this art, it won’t be around because someone like myself needs to wear hair. I’m not wearing hair for fun. This is part of who I am and what I am.”

That is the reason why this type of business idea was a perfect fit for Surianello who recommends other business owners to follow their dreams. “Most people have a feeling of the business they want to pursue, but say they don’t have enough experience, or money, or customers,” she said. “But it starts with ‘What do you love to do?’ In my case, I love helping women and helping them be beautiful again.”

Surianello states that, mobile business ranks 7th for rising businesses so she is longing for success. For promotions, she is using the social media. You can find Le Metric on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
